You just can't go wrong with black and white in a room. It makes your choice of bling, texture, a little color and pattern work no matter what! Amy has spent the last few months rethinking the master bathroom in her house with this color combo as the jumping off point. So, today, while perusing Pinterest we landed on this crazy good image of a recent kitchen remodel in the same vein. Front & Main, the design blog behind West Elm is a wonderful place to get lost for a while and it's here that we discovered this insane remodel by Daniel Kanter of Manhattan Nest. The budget total would make most add "Hardware Store" to their list of weekend to-do's, stat!
What do we love about this? He had us at vintage. He had us at black and white. He certainly turned funk to fab. Tell us this guy didn't rock it!
Aside from the fact that Daniel's posts are enjoyably witty, he worked with what he had then introduced both vintage and new hardware, material and decor accessories. It's just a fabulous blend of creativity all done on a dime. We recommend heading on over to Manhattan Nest to check out more images, the itemized budget list and a great story of how it came to be.
