As you may have guessed, I'm a sucker for pink. I'm a firm believer you can decorate with hints of pink without making your room look too girly or your significant other crazy.
I recently came across some pictures on Decor Pad as I was hunting for pictures of living rooms and am in awe of this space designed by Tobi Fairley. I'm always inspired by her colorful designs and just love what she did for her client. The space screams G-L-A-M-O-U-R.
I love that Tobi offset the all pink + black + white room with a pair of aqua green lamps. And notice how the lamps compliment the subtle blue-green ceiling? Genius.
I also like her choice for the wall coverings. The simplicity of the Phillip Jeffries Silver Union Square wallpaper adds a modern touch to this living room. I have to say wallpaper is growing on me again after living without it the past 10 years. I had multiple layers covering every crevice in my house that I painstakingly removed. I can see how it breathes new life into an old space and am considering it for my vanity area.
And this spot Tobi carved out for a small desk - lacquered white of course - is perfect. I like that she chose a modern faux bois seat covering for the pink Chippendale chair.
Besides displaying a bunch of pink flowers in your home, how do you incorporate this feminine color into your space? Do you have a favorite piece of pink furniture? Will your significant other let you decorate your home in pink?
