Seattle Locals Brian Paquette + Jennifer Ament collaborate to beautify Seabrook

Alyse Hufford

We love our town! Seattle is bursting with talent and when creative forces collide a lot of magic happens. Seattle locals, artist Jennifer Ament and interior designer, Brian Paquette recently collaborated to beautify two show homes Paquette decorated in the sweet little coastal town of Seabrook, Washington. Earlier this year we did a girls getaway with close friends in this wonderful community and highly recommend visiting this ever-transforming area. Have you ever explored this gem location? About half of the homes and cottages built on this land are available as rentals, which vary in size and character. There's something for everyone and this community seems to be striving to create a storybook feel with a small grocery store Lil's Pantry, pet shop The Salty Dog, book store Blind Dog Books, bike shop and local restaurant pub Mill 109 to name a few, all of which reside in picturesque, unified storefronts. What makes us interested to return is that people like Brian Paquette are dazzling up the typical beachy show home with color, texture and pattern. Brian Paquette Seabrook Show Home

He creates conversation and lures us into the unexpected. We say YES to the vigor and strength with a home that marries modern with vintage, driftwood with bling, bright colors and sharp angles. Trust us, the vacation rental we kicked back in was nothing like this and now we can only dream it was. Ours was spacious yet safe in every aspect of the word subtle. While we had a perfectly relaxing getaway with some of the best girls on earth, it's hard to call out any WOW moment in the decor.

This is type of character and  boldness we celebrate. In our opinion -- BRAVO --  you nailed it! We're so thrilled Seabrook now has the flair it needs. Keep it coming.

Adding Nautical Decor to Your Home...

Alyse Hufford

we like to incorporate a touch of nautical decor in our homes as it reminds us of the beautiful waters of the pacific northwest.  this design board from has some great nautical pieces in navy + white with a modern twist. we believe every room should have a blend of old and new pieces to give a space character.  with some of these vintage beauties recently added to the shop, you can give your space just the right touch of nautical vintage.  we would display the pair of ships or ceramic full sail ship in a child's bedroom.  and for the vintage barware collector, these full sail gold glasses are in excellent condition and would add a touch of nautical + masculine to any bar cart.  and for the brass collector, check out this glam anchor candle stick. : :nautical room
