We love our town! Seattle is bursting with talent and when creative forces collide a lot of magic happens. Seattle locals, artist Jennifer Ament and interior designer, Brian Paquette recently collaborated to beautify two show homes Paquette decorated in the sweet little coastal town of Seabrook, Washington. Earlier this year we did a girls getaway with close friends in this wonderful community and highly recommend visiting this ever-transforming area. Have you ever explored this gem location? About half of the homes and cottages built on this land are available as rentals, which vary in size and character. There's something for everyone and this community seems to be striving to create a storybook feel with a small grocery store Lil's Pantry, pet shop The Salty Dog, book store Blind Dog Books, bike shop and local restaurant pub Mill 109 to name a few, all of which reside in picturesque, unified storefronts. What makes us interested to return is that people like Brian Paquette are dazzling up the typical beachy show home with color, texture and pattern.
He creates conversation and lures us into the unexpected. We say YES to the vigor and strength with a home that marries modern with vintage, driftwood with bling, bright colors and sharp angles. Trust us, the vacation rental we kicked back in was nothing like this and now we can only dream it was. Ours was spacious yet safe in every aspect of the word subtle. While we had a perfectly relaxing getaway with some of the best girls on earth, it's hard to call out any WOW moment in the decor.
This is type of character and boldness we celebrate. In our opinion -- BRAVO -- you nailed it! We're so thrilled Seabrook now has the flair it needs. Keep it coming.
