Luxe for Less at Target

Alyse Hufford

I'm a big proponent that by mixing high and low pieces and vintage with new, you can pull together a space that is a reflection of you.  By featuring meaningful pieces, a high end table or chair, and a mix of vintage and new accessories you will give your room a well collected look that is warm and inviting. luxe-for-less

One of my favorite retailers that features well priced home decor is Target and their Nate Berkus and Threshold collections offer great pieces that can be incorporated into the home at a reasonable price.  Above are some of my favorites that exude a luxurious vibe and with the right mix of old and new, can tie together a high glam room.

If you have a favorite piece you've purchased from Target for your home, I'd love to see how you incorporated it into your space.  And better yet, if you have a style shot of how you mix high and low pieces featuring a Target piece with a vintage decor item you purchased from AnthologyHouse, I'll share it on the blog.

The Woven Wall Hanging

Alyse Hufford

I've been a pinning mad woman lately with hand woven wall hangings.  And these aren't the old school 70's macramé owls I'm talking about (not knocking them, my Grandma had one).  Today's wall hangings are true pieces of art.  I love how they exude a bohemian vibe and give texture to an otherwise blank wall space.  Whether you go the DIY route or select a piece from one of these talented artists - The Brick House, jujujustMaryanne Moodie, or Native Line, this trend is back and here to stay.
